2021 has been a difficult year, there have been massive societal, social and business problems related to Covid. Sun Tzu was a Chinese General, military strategist, writer and philosopher. Sun Tzu died over 2,500 years ago but he still has relevance today. In his book “The Art of War” there is a well-known quote: “Victory comes from finding opportunities in problems”. Thinking outside of the box, being challenged, however unpleasant does create new opportunities/resolutions. Pubs doing home delivery, ultraviolet wands designed by Boeing and Healthe to clean cockpits. Like everyone else, we have faced challenges ourselves in 2021. Particularly in relation to in office communication and training of new staff. As things stand we have most of our team now working from home. We have continued to offer excellent telephone answering and virtual receptionist services to old and new clients in 2021.

We provide solutions to people, whether they are struggling with staffing or call answering, want holiday cover, or want to improve customer experience.


Outsourcing non-core tasks has become more of the norm, as it allows people (be that staff, management or sole traders) to concentrate on core revenue generating work. We have seen first had huge positives for clients (as well as negatives) over the pandemic. One of our clients is a HR professional. His business has almost doubled in 2021, as his clients grapple with a new working environment.

Our offering has not changed because of the pandemic, but the way in which clients are using our services has, slightly. There has been a large swing from message taking to virtual receptionist services, with both new and existing clients. Virtual receptionist allows us to transfer an announced call to staff working remotely on their direct dial (or mobile phone). This allows important calls to be dealt with immediately. In a case of perception is reality, we have one client who has relocated to Spain. Each day we transfer her 4 to 5 calls each day. Her callers are not aware that she is working from Spain, through our service she has continued to maintain extremely high customer satisfaction levels.

We have recruited new clients in almost all sectors in the economy. Including medical, financial, legal, trades, and retail, all looking to enhance the customer service they offer in this trying times.
