It is amazing to see how businesses have adapted their business model due to the covid 19 pandemic, ensuring that they can provide service to their valued customers and keeping some revenue streams alive. Buying local has become more important with the 2 km travel restriction and many local stores are reporting an upturn in business. Many customers cannot leave their houses due to cocooning and many small retail businesses are offering home delivery as an alternative to shopping in store. Quite a lot of restaurants have embraced Homefood delivery and take away, something they never had to contemplate before. A number have manufacturers who found their business dried up over night have turned to manufacturing much needed PPE equipment for t=our health professionals. At least one Tyre Provider has setup a collect and deliver service where they collect your car, fit your tyres and return it safely, all with in the health guidelines laid down by the HSE. There are lots more examples of businesses turning to online and video conferencing for GP and physiotherapy consultations. No contact deliveries are now the norm.
Here at Kendlebell Naas, we continue to handle 100’s of phone calls each day for our clients ensuring that their customers receive our normal exceptional service. All our “Kendle Belles” are safely working remotely from home. We are still answering calls in your business name thanks to some clever work by Clear Connections – Our PBX provider, still setting up and managing phone numbers and traffic for our clients and we have even signed some new clients who having experienced issues in their own business have switched to outsourcing their calls to us.
Hopefully, sometime in the near future things will return to “normal”, but in the interim, business owners will continue to innovate and will continue to deliver great customer service.
